Why would anyone spend their time on a person, that never recorded a video of his gameplay anyway? It's not like i didn't knew where i should go. It took me around a year to finish both DMD's, while stalkering some people around and trying to learn their methods of practice. With little-to-no tutorials about the techniques, i've tried to become better at the games. I wanted to understand how people are doing all these crazy moves.Īnd so it was clear. Sound - Cain's Offering - Queen of Winter.ĥ) A whole "Red Queen challenge" series, where you're trying to clear a room by using one weapon, and that weapon only.Ħ) Cannot ignore both KAIL's videos, which can be easily found on youtube Sound - Static-X - All in Waitģ) DMC3 No Damage DMD M9 Nevan RG only by Krolka. Yes, i don't consider myself a good player in both DMC3 or DMC4, given DMC4 is the game i spent the most time practicing.Īll of it probably started with a series of DMC3/DMC4 videos:ġ) DMC3 No Damage DMD M20 Vergil by Krolka. Speaking of DMC3, i never finished DMD up until 2014-2015, and i'm still nowhere good at both games. I didn't had a gamepad, so the only option left was keyboard, that i've used to finish DMC3 and DMC4.

I don't even remember the reason i wanted to make myself better at the game i barely could finish without using items. I don't know what exactly happened to me. Sure, there were a lot more people throwing some things here and there (mostly - A/GMV's w/ Celldweller or Linkin Park on background, with little-to-no edit, and "this is my first video please watch it), but the ones i've listed were there very often, All of them were competing to have the "biggest d***" in the community. and, of course, a very close friend (later - after communty died) of mine - Krolka. Kerdvima, Dream, Inogama, Godmaster, Loststrifer(?), Lucky1. There was nothing fancy (compared to the ones BlanK, Sakaki or Donguri, TurtleSensei, ChaserTech, DK 2011-2017 era) From basic things as Exceeding, Jump Cancelling, Inertia (that nobody used back there), to actual combo videos by the members of communty. Never taking a hit, combined with cool music, some challenge runs, some IL speedruns, trashtalk, everything was so cool to watch, that it gives an impression of a community that geniunely shares a passion of playing a game in a way that you actually get "everything" from it.

Jump Cancels? Style? wtf, i can't even clear M20 Sanctus without taking a hit on Devil Hunter (Normal difficulty), and these guys are killing stuff on the hardest (Dante Must Die) difficulty, and making it look easy. People were doing a lot of things i didn't understood. I wasn't (and i doubt i've changed my opinion on this question) a person that actively participating in discussions, especially when i have no clue what was happening on my screen. We will start from a trip back in time, aka 2009-2011 Russian DMC community.

Part I - Destruction, Mending and Corruption. Reading this wall of text without a context will probably give you the wrong impression about the reasons i said the words i've said, and the things i've done. If you missed the run, check it out, it's actually quite a good one. I assume you've watched my DMC4SE speedrun at sESA19, so i won't have you to explain the reasoning behind such a title, and what happened at the run.
